If you love Bruce Campbell and liked the old Wild Wild West shows then you will like this series.

This was one of the best TV shows of all time. The writing was so far ahead of its time. Must watch more than once because so much dialogue gets missed while you're laughing. So very tongue in cheek. Just plain awesome.

Love the show and the box set is great - but just a warning buy this DvD elsewhere. I saw it at BJs Club for $13.99 today and on ebay for under $30.00 for the same product. Amazon is ripping you off here.

Before Firefly... Nov 11, 2009
Brisco County isn't really much like Firefly, apart from the offbeat humor. However when it first aired it had a similarly devoted fan following and for much the same reason: it was absolutely different from every other program out there. The pacing is a little off for modern expectations, but the dry wit delivered superbly by Bruce Campbell, Kelly Rutherford, and John Astin is more than worth the investment in this DVD collection.

It's ok, watchable Nov 09, 2009
I really like Bruce in the few things I have seen him in. Maybe I am not getting all the humor, though there is some, but there is a whole lot of "try and be serious", that role just does not suit Bruce... in my opinion.
But that is only because he does the clown so well! (sorry for typecasting)
However, having said that, it is still very watchable and I am glad I bought it. Just because things are not as you were expecting, does not make them bad, you just have to appreciate them for what they are.
There is a whole lot of little cameos in it too.. you know, where you say "where do I know that person from?" :)
