"Love is fearless". That's a profound philosophical principal few people have even heard of and fewer still understand, yet through personal experience and artistic intuition, Taylor Swift has grasped it. Her songs follow that theme with utmost consistency, that only comes from intense focus. She appeals to the young and the young at heart, because they still remember what it's like to be in love.
She takes the role of the underdog, compassionate with everyone's suffering, because she's gone through it, been an outcast, she gives hope and inspiration, that the underdog can eventually triumph, if your love is strong enough. It's evident in her songs and video blogs how she loves her family, her band, friends and fans. The ugly duckling with bad hair turns into a fairy tale princess, a rock star goddess, and finds true love. Truly inspiring.

I have both of here CD's and this is even better than the first which i loved. This is just a great CD by a Great singer.

What a talented young lady. I have always considered myself to be an individual able to hide emotions when needed. However, I have to admit to listening to Taylors music and struggling at times to not get a little watery eyed listening to her beautiful lyrics. The song, The Best Day, is beautiful and demonstrates her strong sense of family. You know, when we are born, it is kind of like standing in a lottery line to see what cards you will be dealt. Will you be attractive, beautiful on the inside and maybe have a special talent. Well, Taylor Swift has hit the trifecta. If you read these reviews Taylor, stay well so that you may continue to share your gift with us, your fans. Your music is so beautiful. What a bright future is before you.
Sweet, Lighthearted and a breath of fresh air Oct 20, 2009
My daughter got this cd as a gift and plays it over and over in the car. Somehow, both she and I never tire of Taylor Swift's beautiful voice and great lyrics. My only concern is that we are wearing it out! Way to go Taylor! We love you!
